As being northern, I know a lot of football fans, and a lot of league fans - they dont tend to be both. And those that are, tend to know very very little about football really and just do it to be cool.

because he cant head the ball, simple as really.
This was proved where towards the end he had to crosses come into him...one the smallest man in the world beat him to and headed it out for a corner. The second he thought he was a defender and headed it from about 5yrds out back out to the wing.

sounds like hes short of games, and he possibly needed more than 8 minutes to pick up the pace of the game.. you saying you wouldnt have brought him on? or would you have and give him the same/more time?

We arent some mid-table side who can afford to drag a play like Crouch along for a few games just so he can be 'upto speed' a few weeks later. If a player isnt good enough to come on and head a ball (christ I could do this without all the training he has) towards the goal then he just isnt good enough.
And no. I would of put Babel upfront, moved Riise to the LW and played 3 at the back.
