It's not that I choose to have a Corsa over a decent car. I've just bought a house and would rather put money into that than buy another car. Houses make money, cars don't. Just this bodywork to do and I'm nearly there with the car to how I want it. Just maybe a steering wheel and 90mm rear springs.

As for the wheels, GTF

Update 24/4/08, just ordered one of these:

*photo for illustration only. Going for:

52mm electrical oil temp
52mm electrical oil pressure

Looking forward to getting them fitted. Which make of 52mm gauges are recommended?

Cheers

Update - 10/5/2008.

Had my car in the bodyshop for the following:

tailgate respraying (As it had rust in the corners of sport spoiler)

Rear wing and touched in the door (As removing rubstrips pulled a bit of paint off)

I know it needs a proper wash and back to black on the bumpers, and some autosol on the exhaust but the majority of the car was cleaned by the bodyshop.

Work looks top!

Well happy with the car now.

Really like it mate.

Can I ask where you got the red LED's for your dash (etc)? The previous owner started doing mine with blue, and they look pretty cool. I'd like to finish it but he said he ran out of LED's.

Any idea?

How hard are they to fit?

Thanks mate

I got the LEDs off 'crazyleds' off ebay. Came as a full dash kit for:

Speedo, MFD and heater control bulbs.

Here you go mate:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CORSA-B-TIGRA-LED-DASH-KIT-ALL-BASIC-MODELS-GSi-SRi_W0QQitemZ190109904346

Can be quite fiddly, MFD are easiest. Run a search on here and someone has done a write up on fitting LEDs/removing dash I believe

Thought I'd create a false floor to tidy up the rear of the car with a view to fitting some black bucket seats and harnesses eventually.

The floor is finished and will be fitted when I get the seats etc, bought some 6mm MDF and some acoustic carpet. Used the boot carpet as a template. Used spray glue. really tidy job, fits the car snug. Split MDF so spare is easy accessible.

What ya reckon?

Cheers Jimmy

It was really easy to do, used the boot floor to draw around, then used the girlfriend's dad's jigsaw, then some swift diy experimental trimming skills and voila. It's neat but could have been better.

I would come and do yours, but my call out charge + labour might not be to your liking

Cheers
