well, went out with some mates on saturday night, get talking to a mate of a mate. i've known her for about a year but aren't really friends. ended up asking her to come out with me on sunday and she agreed. we went to southport pleasureland (a glorified gypo fair) it was fun if not alittle on the shit side. after that we were just sat on the seafront for ages, tried starting conversations etc but she was just giving one word answers so making it really hard work (and not in a good way ) the whole time i was trying to talk to her she was texting then out of nowhere she says "oh, do you fancy going to the cinema?" i agreed so off we went, watched "the ugly truth" (which is awful by the way) when that finished we just went home, never said a word the entire time back.
then when i get home (she must have timed it impeccably) she starts texting me telling me what an ace time she had she just seemed very boring and lacking in personality though, you could ask her what she liked it was either "dunno really" or whatever you've just said you liked.
problem now is, shes at the pub tonight and i haven't really spoken to her since

Might just have been first date nerves Andy. Laura was a bit like that and a year later we've been living together for 2 months

If you like her then do something abit more creative, get her drinking too for added bonus points. the fair (gay) and then the seafront (pressured situation to talk) and the cinema (sitting in the dark watching a film not talking) are all gay places for a date IMO TBH

Perfect time to speak to her again then IMO. If she's drunk she'll be less self concious and you can build on how easy it was to talk to her then in the future
