100 bhp is standard figure. Gear ratios are quite close so its very quick at low speeds and has low top speed which is what i am after.
Will post some pics after i take a shower....

Few pics my parents made as my hands were way to oily..
Hit few problems one of being that engine mount doesn't line up properly but already figured out a solution and hopefully that will get sorted tomorrow.
Wiring is almost in place although some plugs have to be chopped and and replaced with old ones. Nothing too bad so far.

Thanks guys!
The engine is now bolted in propetly, Driveshafts and hubs/brakes are on. Mechanical art is done as far as i am aware.
Electrical part is killing me though. Suzuki changed about 80% of plugs so nothing matches. I read that this conversion is relatively easy with splicing original wiring into gti loom. This is what me and my dad gonna try today.

coming along nicely. look forward to seeing it finished.
100bhp should be quick enough in a light car like that

Good news! Car runs! But got some small problems still which piss me off but oh well..
Major set back yesterday - massive leak from oil pump seal....Couple of hours work in tiny space to get it off...
If you look at top left corner you will see that gasket is not correct.
Now i used silicone - works a treat.
Then had no spark - broken wire on AFM...
Now the problem i have is that some times rev counter needle goes to zero and temp gauge goes up ? only happens when i try moving though.

Well i took it for a drive today ( well three seperate ones) did about 15 miles so far.
Can tell that gearbox is fucked ( was on 127k when i got the engine/box) and i am not suprised looking at orignal shafts it came with. Should be picking up a replacement gearbox on monday hopefully as long as mine stays drivable as atm it jumps out of second gear but i got to keep putting miles on the engine!
gonna take few pics tomorrow and a short video or how it runs now.

Well!
Got new gearbox on sunday! Fitted it and managed to brake fan switch
Ordered one, wrong one came in, correct one couldn't be ordered. Went to different motorfactors and they had correct one - RESULT!
Car drives very well now. Don't seem to have any problems at the moment apart from blowing exhaust ( got that given for free so can't complain).
My car is a tip at the moment though, will give it a clean and a wash tomorrow and get some pics!

Front is much lower now due to extra weight of engine and different springs! Next up will be exhaust and koni shocks.

Update time!
Haven't got round ro cleaning the car properly yet, but got few bits done.
First of all finished of the conversion(almost) All is left to do is connect the interior light, passengers side window, few other little bits.
Had an exhaust done at Zorstec on tuesday. Quite happy with it although tailpipe design wasnt my first choise but that is the best they had that i liked.
Video:
Dunno why it makes that odd noise, could be something in the exhaust but it sure is annoying. doesn't seem to be hitting anything though.
Sold my 1.0 engine for a very good price and got this HT lead cover as part/ex
Thought i would do something with it. Had few choices:
Polish
paint or powder coat
3CM carbon fiber vinyl
Obvious choice
Before:
vinyl
wrapped:
Rest it on top of leads to get a general idea:
All i got left to do now is cut the holes in vinyl for bolts and bolt it up.
