Wheels are same fitment, just bolt on. They are wider and lower offset so if your fairly low on the front it will scrub, also can't use spacers on the back with them.

I wouldn't have them again though, weigh 14kg each (without tyres) and too hard lined for the ibiza's curvy shape (more so with pre-facelift)

Also I've got a problem with the ibiza's steering, sometimes when going around a corner the steering will suddenly get really stiff, as in so hard I can't turn the wheel anymore. I've had a poke around underneath but can't see anything obvious, VAGCOM doesn't throw any errors up either.

I've had this issue a few random times before, but it became more apparent while on track at the weekend.

While wandering somewhere today, I was thinking over my plans for the car in the long term future. From before I bought it, I was going to push the 300bhp mark, but while on one of my random thought trails, I have decided to make a RWD TDi Ibiza With over 300bhp and about 500lb/ft I think it should be a lively drive Also, I would be looking at some proper aero-dynamics, using my uni/works facilities to design and make a proper diffuser. As I say, its all in the future though, probably either when Im on my placement year or when I graduate.

Try changing the sensitivity of the steering on VAGCOM and see if it makes any difference, I upped it on mine because by default it felt like I was constantly steering on ice/snow!

If you are anywhere near it have a look, otherwise don't worry.

I've got a bit of pipe so it's either the right size or not.

Track/winter bumper, so my smoothed bumper doesn't get all fooked up, as it was only painted in Aug. Bumper cost me less than a re-spray, plus I can always sell it on too

2266 turbo (custom manifold), bigger injectors, FMIC, full zorst, head work, headbolts, probably some water/meth injection and a bit of NOx for fun. With NOx it will be closer to 400bhp

Yeah, not much of the ibiza mechanicals will still be there, completely different rear end, engine turned round, different gearbox, will be a lot of work but it will be a toy then so won't be a problem
