There was a bit of an altercation at BC when they played us and that twat Maamria got sent off, may have been over that. Also Foyle was sort of critical of Stevenage's play, saying something like "they have a certain way of playing and although its not pretty its got them out of this league"
No excuse though.

Haha aye, was a strange day, no one really cared about the result. Problem for Stevenage was there were far too many Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea supporters come for the glory day out, i even saw a manchester united top in the stevenage end
To say you had just won the league you were extremely quiet, but then realistically you only have 1,600 proper fans. I met of few of these at/around the ground and they were lovely but then you had the badgers that just came to taunt us for no apparent reason and seemed more interested in goading us at the final whistle than going to celebrate with the players and that dispite the fact we were all applauding you
I'll let this picture do the talking:
Go on you hard bastards

Dont get me started on some of the fans, but then well, it is Stevenage!
Did you go out in the leisure park on the night before jonny, had a few reports of some rowdy York fans in the area! Wondered if you were the main protagonist?!

I don't want your boys fucking up our goalposts either like they did at Rushden...
Talk on the Outlaws forum that a few have got tickets in our end for the 1st leg. They won't last long.

Have you seen the Rushden fans crying about that incident? It's like we were on the pitch killing children or something. And yes, seems people have tickets everywhere again Nutters.

TBF, there is no excuse for this
Meaningless match, no rivalry between the two sides, not really much point tbh. I can see the point of pitch invasions when you have just secured something important on the last day but not when you have just drawn 1-1 at Rushden. Fair enough if you want to congratulate the players for achieving 2nd but to go goad the rushden fans seems a bit pathetic.
