Yeah, Pretty sure he don't make them anymore so.

Best thing i can suggest is to buy a haynes manual Cambelt off, Inlet and exhaust manifolds removed, Rocker cover off and then head bolts removed.

If you do need help, Give me a shout and i'll try my best. Be here until dawn listing everything now lol

I'm in no rush to finish it, Got loads I want to do, Make it uber reliable, Uber tidy and no more engine issues!

So, tonight I mocked up the inlet, Thought it would be rude to not get a quick pic. The TB is going to be painted tomorrow.

I'm also sorting my head at some point soon, Skimming, Stem seals, Valves lapping in, Lifters emptied and cleaned, plus Paint.

Morr tomorrow probs

Was already planned .

Before I can finish it, Gotta get some gasket sealant, injector seals and clean up the face that goes onto the head.

Anybody who says I work fast, This is proof I don't always lol

Ive got the dash loom out, Along with the heater matrix to change the fan as its broke. Dash loom is being modded.

I'm also, As you can see, doing some work on the engine loom, Moving the SAI valve and fuel tank vent valve to the scuttle, plus just making it look tidier.

Still got loads more to do, Just been too busy.

When you put the blue plug under the inlet do you have to cut and extend the wires to the injectors?

No need to cut or extend any of the wiring, Just need to re-loom it all. Similar as when fitting a powerbox.

Got some more done today, Will update later maybe.

I've done a lot.....

Ok, So I've only sorted some wiring and refitted it, Plus cleaned up the block and also refitted the matrix.

Got all the bits ready to rebuild it, Just need some time and be arsed to do it.

Jamie, At least I have a engine in my bay

Got the head back on, Placed the cams on to check the timing marks

Gotta change the crank seal, New water pump to be fitted too.

Plan is to get the water pump fitted, then the alternator, then the lower inlet etc. Ideally have it running sometime this weekend.

While Its all stripped, I chose to underseal the cross member...

...Then painted it star silver, Not perfect but who gives a toss.

Also got the oil pickup and sump refitted after being cleaned/painted.

Maybe another kinda boring update tomorrow...

Was hoping to start this today, But I haven't got enough oil, Or any anti-freeze/coolant so will have to wait until tuesday maybe.

Got the powerbox bolted on properly, Tidied up some of the wiring, Got some of the vacuums sorted, Need to order more pipe before I can finish it though.
So In my normal fashion, Pics. Really pleased on how its turned out, I know the gearbox etc needs a good clean, But in due time.

So left to do...

Fill oil
Fill coolant
Change exhaust for standard
Connect up breathers
Battery
Spin it over to build oil pressure
Plugs/leads back in/on
Refit Dash
Refit headlights/bumper

That should be the rough list anyway.

Just want it done now.
