So SMG is just the same as a semi-automatic or tiptronic box.

I've got a tiptronic box on the passat. Its better than full auto, but shit compared to manual

Its basically a manual box which runs slaves etc so its a clutchless change

E36's are a lot nicer than I remember now. It's been a while since I've seen one sans gold tissue box due to where I live
