take 2 will be much easier

yeah its quite fiddly. i used a dremel. also had to file the edge of the plastic down because the key is wider than the modern ones

I was thinking about making one of these myself a while ago, not sure if it's worth the hassle though.

i think it is. makes you look like you own a decent car. instead of your key looking like it belongs to a moped!

looks like the pressed metals will be coming off. some cock of a police officer decided they are illegal eventhough being uk font. correct spacing. correct width around the numbers. and are reflective. and non of the legislation that he gave me stated that the plates had to be plastic!

so im going to have to go back to shitty massive plastic ones now because i have 2 marks against my private plate and dont want to loose 600quids worth of plate :\

seriously pissed off!

nope nothing to do with that. he just said your not allowed raised letters and they cant be metal! . . . so what about my beetle that had classic plates that were metal and raised!

he said even if you get them with the proper BS number on them there still illegal :s

Also because there was someone asking about 1.0 drilled airboxes. heres mine. only got a few holes. no need for swiss cheese as this sounds really deep to me.
