We have a Nespresso thing in work that everyone raves about. Personally can't stand the stuff but there's an engraved wooden presentation box full of little shots that looks as cool as fuck beside it.

The Nespresso Pixie I have is £105 on Amazon just now. You're getting a £40 credit from Nespresso aswell at the moment to spend on coffee etc.
I love mine!
Bear in mind you'll need a separate milk frother if you want to make lattes or cappuccinos.
Edit: Here it is - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nespresso-Krups-XN300540-Machine-Titanium/dp/B004MW56CE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327666048&sr=8-1

I bought a krups piccolo, it used the dolce gusto capsules rather than nespresso which may suit you if you want to avoid buying online and want a pod machine
I've tried a few of the varieties so far and they are all far superior to costa/Starbucks,not sure how it compares to nespresso though

Jesus! I didn't think I'd see a coffee machine smaller than mine.. Looks like an awesome little desk accessory.

An supprised there is so many people who crave coffee . I can imagine a lot buying on a whim , using it for a month then whinging about the time it takes to get up to pressure and temperature and sacking it off for the kettle and a jar. Mc Donald's lattes are my personal favourite

I've got a delongi expresso machine and it's far quicker than the kettle. I try not to hammer it tho, just use it when I need a pick me up and prefer the taste to jar coffee.

This, dad has one. It's brilliant. Burr and not blade too, which grinds the coffee better.
