*** Cleaned ***
Well the car had been kind of neglected of the past 6 weeks as it hasn’t moved just been sat outside getting dirty, so I spent my bank holiday weekend given her a good clean, 12 hours in total over the 2 days.
Mainly took so long cause I got a bit carried away polishing little things like this
And this
Also got a bit anal, and took things out to clean behind them
Before
After
Which after I was finished left me with this
Think it came up pretty well
Just waiting on my new arches to turn up and need to find a new front bumper from somewhere and ill be pretty happy with the outside of the car

Spent the day at Santa pod again today
Managed to get a new personal best time
15.8 @ 86mph
How good is this for a standard 1.6 16v?
Harley.

Been a while since ive undated an to be honest not much has happened
Noticed that my coilovers were leaking and looking a bit worse for wear so I invested in these..
Got them fitted straight away
They came with some 400lb rear springs which were about 70 - 80mm drop but these where far to high for me so stuck with the 110mm rears
I might have set them a bit low at first which resulted in my N/S inner CV shitting itself
After lots of swearing I finally managed to get the remaining part of the CV joint out of the gear box
Safe to say I decided it was too low and raised it up
Spent the following day at Santa Pod, didn’t wanna push the car too much as I was a bit nervous about destroying another CV so only did 3 runs with a best of 16.1
Let my mate take the car up for a run so I could get some pictures
He managed a 16.4 which was quite impressive for his first ever run
Hadn’t cleaned the car in a while so the other day I gave it a quick wash and went and got some up to date pictures
Should be some more updates soon
