Update: 31/05/2013
Its been a little later than planned, but finally have some paint on the underside and arches,
After many hours of masking, prept work and paint I now have something that looks like this:
Excuse the overspray on the heatshields, I did try to remove before painting, but just had that feeling the bolts would shear, so they remained in place, i'll address them later on.
Thats the underside, heres the Passenger arch, couldnt get any decent pics of the drivers side arch as it was too close to the wall and light was a massive issue, i can asure you its just as clean.
Now after giving the car a day to dry, it was time to get busy un-masking and cleaning everything up, The brake lines previously being cleaned were the first to be un-masked, I also turned my attention to the heat shields and polished the exhaust whilst i was there.
Now before someone mentions the fuel lines, it was my intention to clean and mask them, but the car had previously been undersealed not by myself, and they have been well and truely covered, and not wanting to damage them I was unable to get them back to the original blue, they maybe replaced in the future, enough of the words... take a look at the results yourself
Next up was to put my attention on the rear drums, not in a bad condition, but with everything around them painted and freshed up would be rude not to give them some TLC.
Once they had chance to dry it was suspension fitting, now along with everything the shocks and springs also got a good deep clean before fitting. you'll also notice that the exhaust system has been re-fitted with a little polish.
One last shot from underneath
Monday will see the skirts in paint and also the refurb of one wheel.... Real rush to get it ready for PVS, but im determined to make it there!
As always comments welcome

Update: 03/06/2013
So today as planned, I managed to get both the wheel and sideskirts in paint with the help of my mate Carl,
Some might ask why im only painting one wheel, well the long and short of it was, a little while ago minding my own business on the way home, I was confronted with a BMW driver as he decided to overtake a car in the on coming lane and not realising how much space he had, it was either a head on collision on mount the curb, I chose the curb which resulted in a mullered rim
Here's the wheel after the curbing was taken out with a DA.
Then on with the primer and a bit of a rub down.
And finally some Paint...
The sideskirts were primered over the weekend,
After battling with a few reactions and preping the primer I was finally getting somewhere.
Was then all ready to paint, and here they are in all their glory, excuse the pics as white is a bugger to photo in the sun
Hopefully fitting tomorrow and then its time for MOT, fingers crossed its ready for PVS...
Coments welcome peeps
