Well here are a few pictures as promised :-)
Firstly here is the torch coral that lost one of the heads completely over 36 hours while I went away on the weekend, almost certainly down to the parrotfish
and on the same note, I'm pretty sure that the chunk missing from this lobophyllia is also due to the same fish
On a much more positive note though, here is the most recent picture of the acanthophyllia that the Moorish Idol almost completely destroyed (again, one weekend while I was away!) and it has almost completely recovered now from when it was basically just flecks of flesh between the skeleton!
Quite a nice shot of the trachyphyllia. It's the first play I've had with the new camera and lens though so I'm sure I can get some better pictures in the near future :-)
Then the new additions from the weekend;
Another Acanthophyllia
Scolly - best picture I could get as it's currently around the middle of the tank and it needs to be moved to a better position.
And the only photo that I managed to get at all of the new female Japanese Swallowtail Angelfish, she's still very shy.
A random photo of the clownfish, just because I like it :-)
And lastly the most recent FTS, I did get another one closer up to the tank itself but by that time the lights had almost gone out so I will have to get another one tomorrow if I get the chance.

Yeah that sounds about right with my luck recently! The whole panel above the tank slides out on heavy duty runners though so I can get access into the tank for feeding and placing corals etc. when I need to. I do also sometimes put cubes of frozen food into the final chamber of the sump out in the garage and the pump just sucks them up when they have defrosted and feed them directly into the tank.

might sound like a daft question but your av setup is awesome but...
Does that not have a serious effect on the fish when watching movies etc with the noise and LFE's

I've had a party at mine with the music so loud I could see the cones on the speakers moving about an inch and the fish didn't seem bothered at all :-)

It's called Z-Clad, it just so happened that the guy who invented it lives in Hereford and he came to drop it off himself :-)

Nice! I might give this a try at half the price (not sure about shipping).
Not sure if a full wall will be a bit overkill for a normal house though.
