I think that people only think about the "kid" stage, get all loved up with kids and babies and the fun, cuteness of it all.
Don't hear many people too chuffed and openly going on about their teenagers.
Novelty wears off I reckon.

It does get easier too, especially if the kids has good grandparents who take them off your hands now and again so you can spend some decent time with the Mrs.
Mine came in earlier with two Oreos, "I've saved my last two for you Dad, can I have a kiss and cuddle cos I'm tired now and I'm going to bed". Sounds soppy but money can't buy stuff like that.
Couldn't put it better myself.

Not a good time to have kids in 2012 with the impending apocalypse.
Anything over the age of 7 will get raped regardless of sex.
Plus they will only slow you down and you will not survive.

my mate told me today he was up at 6:30am every morning during our 24 days off as his baby was going mental
nice one, i'll stick to my 9-10am wake ups thanks.
also i like doing things on the spur of the moment. with kids you can't do that. have to plan ahead/make sure you have enough nappies for it's constant shit breaks.

In fairness, the handouts from the government are shit now, me and the missus make just under £30k a year between us, pay £300 a month on nursery fees and we get £120ish a month to help support the child.
It's better than nothing obviously before you say that

Tbh, its far from a portfolio comment, i wouldnt be arsed about it, if i had a portfolio.
We earn under 35k between us, yet we dont get a penny. Fucking grinds my gears all these single mums getting 300 quid a month to spend on what they like, free rent etc etc.

you shouldn't get a penny for having a kid anyway. it's not an order, it's a choice.
this is't nazi germany and people are not driving around in volkswagen beetles.

I dont want a penny, id be happy as larry if everyone gets nothing once they have a child.
The fact, if you have a child and work you get nothing, but if you do not work, you end up just as well off is a piss take.
I think its wrong that you can sit on your arse being a lazy family, yet the min you work you get penalized for it.
