Wait, a hot hatch is cheaper than this sports saloon thingy?
Mind = blown.
Next you'll tell me that a Twingo is cheaper than a VW Golf.

can't win on here.
i'll just continue thinking it's underpowered like almost everyone and you can be the minority sticking up for it.

What a thread people haven't even driven the fucking thing and are already slating it for being underpowered. The mx5 gets rave reviews year in, year out and I don't think they've ever crossed 150bhp?

Rather something nondescript weith a 2k power band that sounds like a tractor so I can win traffic light grand prix's
Preffably FWD with as many doors as poss that is good in the snow

Is that it?! How does it even move from a stationary position?! Fairly sure my mountain bike is more powerful.

i'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just saying for me, i'd want more power to deal with everyday stuff.
i don't know if you drive your motor everyday, but i do, and have to go through quite a lot of traffic lights where people love to cut in on you, so having the power to get away and out of the way of some asian twat is ideal.

Trust you but the point still stands. And Ben, it's not a 1.2 8v Corsa mate? It'll still have some poke. I'm happier with my car now, with it's 4k rev limit and all of 80bhp and new, excellent tyres for hooning around the back roads than I was when I was chasing M3's etc about the place.

Who cares? I'm willing to bet my Civic would do the same to a Clio 200 (in the previous or next iteration) but that counts for shit really

Ah so now we're making weird bets.
I bet a 458 would kill the Clio on track.

But it's bhp/torqued am near match the clip that everyone compares it to. So is that under powered to?

It's nothing to do with the absolute power of the engine, it's underpowered relative to the car it's in, obviously imo from that 0-60 speed.

Well we're comparing hot hatches to something that definitely isn't a hot hatch so I thought I'd join in.
