I've dropped mine once, onto the pavement, bounced a few times. some marks around the edge but done not too bad. I think the rubber stuff round the edge must have cushioned it.

I was really annoyed at mine because it was some sort of sales call.

It's all well and good getting the updates quicker, but I'd rather not get it until SkyGo fucking works with it

The HTC iPhone One
Why Apple ever signed an agreement allowing HTC to copy them is beyond me.

It does look a bit similar, starting to look like there will be quite a few 'high end' handsets coming out this year. The interface and spec of the HTC One looks really good, coupled with 4.1.2 (no doubt 4.2.2 when the phone goes on sale), it looks like a winner. I like the stereo speakers and Windows phone style tiles.

Will anyone really use the stereo speakers? Only place you'd use them is at home, where you might as well use your TV/surround Sound, tablet or laptop...

You're essentially asking if anyone will ever play any music through their phone speakers? If so, yes.

Can't say I ever have. Only people that do that are 17yo's walking round shopping centres.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in here but the speaker on this has a fairly big design flaw. When it's on a couch for example, the speaker hole is basically sealed up, making it very quiet.

Pick it up or turn it over then
I thought it was a strange place to put the speaker at first, but then when you hold the phone on its side then you can cup your hand so the sound deflects back towards you so it sounds better
The Nokia 5580 had stereo speakers on one side which was supposed to be good for when you're watching videos etc, but in reality it didn't really make any difference. When you're talking about two tiny speakers only a couple of centimetres apart, it's actually pretty pointless imo. But then I haven't seen this new HTC so don't know how they've done it.

I meant more for not being able to hear the ringer than holding it up to use it.
