Excellent result for United, they will finish the job at Old Trafford now.

Enjoyed that. Wasn't the team I expected but played a well disciplined game as expected and it worked. I was sure Rafael was going to be sent off but he sorted himself out in the 2nd half. He is turning in to a top right back now, just needs to keep his temper in check sometimes.

Bit disappointed we didn't win it with a couple of RVP's chances in the 2nd half tbh. Welbeck was ace. Big Dave was ace. Evans good. All players that have had loads of stick in the past.

Got to be advantage to us now.

On De Gea - He made a worldy save in first half but apart from that the rest of his performance is what i'd expect from a Man U keeper. Performance getting overhyped by media imo. Still flaps at crosses.

He's always been a decent shot stopper, and he was last night. That was it though, still useless at everything else

He will sort the crosses thing out in time I hope. He does enough good to outweigh the odd fuck up, he is very young for a keeper playing at this level.

Just unfortunate that playing for Man United any mistakes get highlighted and over hyped. Hardly any fuss over Reina the other week when he screwed up but that's the difference between playing for a top side and a mid table club. Same with Hart, had a few fuck ups but nothing like the same fuss gets made over it.

You know what I'm saying you plank. He gets more media coverage with it being Man United and what happened when Schmeichel retired. They want the same to happen again. Bad news sells

I think because Mancini slammed Hart after the match it stopped a lot of the media coverage as they went on Mancini instead of Hart.

De gea definitely gets more criticism as he's utds keeper though. Won't argue that

Good result for United but a shame we couldnt get that 2nd goal. It definetly isnt going to be easy at old trafford but we have a slight advantage than before but im fully expecting RM to score 2 goals so an away 1-1 draw isnt as good as people make out. 3 or 4 goals are going to have to be scored for us to stand a chance.

I also want Ronaldo back at United He wants to be back, every single person to do with United wants him back and Madrid need to sell him before his contract is up because there's no way he will be extending it. It isnt going to happen but i can hope

Disagree, barely saw rvp in the game, he had 3 good chances, that he should have buried. From the posession he had, he played well.

We've got a decent team for tonight apparently, no doubt our black players will get abused.

Any other game with those chances I would bank on RVP to score 1, maybe 2 out of the 3. Rare for him to fluff that headed pass from Carrick and the keeper just got enough on the other chance to put it on to the bar
