I can't see the French, Italian or Portuguese leagues overtaking the Bundesliga, PL or La Liga any time soon.

You never know if the german league overtakes us which is easily possible they are close, then potentially italy could too.
Another question, do europa matches contribute towards the rankings?

Nobody knows or cares probably
I can't see EPL losing any kind of ranking any time soon though, it's pretty stable to be fair.

What i mean is, if english teams do poorly. then the EPL drops further down the UEFA rankings, then the league loses its automatic 4th place.
So I dont understand people who wish for other english teams to lose, especially when their teams are prime candidates for the 4th place spots, which could potentially be lost in the future.
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, is all im saying

It's rare that I would cheer for another English side in the Champions League. I would maybe want another English side to win a game if it meant knocking out someone that could be a threat to Uniteds overall chances but certainly wouldn't want them to win the competition! As much as I don't like Bayern I would have rather they had won it last year than Chelsea!

I think and hope United will win 2-1.
To that end I have placed a small wager. Also fancy Ronaldo any time scorer but it is almost pointless to place the bet at the odds on offer.

365 matching pre-match bet stake with an in-game stake, and fred is matching any FGS / ATS bets.
365 have the best offer on imo, max £50.

Only problem with the bet365 one is you get it refunded rather than a free bet. So need to have the cash in there!

Betfred is 4/1 for Van Persie and Ronaldo to score, not a bad deal worth a £10 I reckon. Also going for a 2-1 Madrid win at 8/1.

Even though he was indirectly having a pop at Arsenal, but he was saying that the CL and Europa are a joke. It should be Champions League for Champions and potentially a play off between the 2nd/3rd place teams to take a extra place. Why should a team finish 4th get into it and reap the rewards??
I said this a while ago, it just transpired with us winning the league 3 times in a row thats all.
But its in the name - Champions League, no place for 2nd, 3rd and 4th!

Jesus Christ. They were just interviewing United fans outside Old Trafford on the local news. Asked one of them who was going to be our key player. He answered Phil Jones. You fucking idiot. Go home, you don't deserve to be at that game.

Steve would have said Bryan Robson, and thats only because the commentator during WC 1990 mentioned Manchester United.
