The 172 come in base, half fat (either suspension or spoiler/splitter) or full fat (both suspension and spoiler/splitter), climate control, auto lights and wipers.
172 cup has spoiler/splitter, no traction control, no air con, no xenons or ABS and has base spec cloth seats. So ends up approx. 100kg lighter apparently.
182 is the same affair as the 172 but with cruise control and has a revised exhaust manifold to produce a few more bhp.
182 cup is the same as the 172 cup but has cruise control and air con.
Trophy is same spec wise and the 182 cup but has Sachs racing suspension, Recaro trendline bucket seats and has the V6 spoiler and only came in capsicum red.

There are rumours but nothing proven I don't think.
Either way best going for a full fat 182, might as well have some luxuries

Weeping? Both sides or one? My old one did that, I peirced a hole in the washer bottle cap, relieve some air pressure out the bottle. Stopped them weeping.
Ps do you want them painting orange?

At first it was one side, I fitted a one way valve which stopped it but now the other is leaking. Fed up of them and decided they look rubbish.
I might do, going to give it a go myself with that paint you gave me when I picked up the spoiler. So if that goes terribly bad I shall pass them onto you

Yeah I will do bud. Will the blanks just need sanding back a bit and then some primer, paint and then lacquer?

Yeah. If there's no chips on them just scotch them. Primer. Quick flat paint and laquer.
