team member in a structured day service for people in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol misuse. Working 1-1 and in groups, delivering cognitive behavioural therapy based stuff in atheraputic community. It's interesting, the people want to be their not made to be so it is a really positive place.

Auto electrician

Work for my own family (Two brothers and father), Obvious I was going to join leaving school, Had it pretty easy really.

I've often thought about changing jobs, I never recommend working with family, but I wouldn't find something that pays this well for the work I do, and nothing else would really use my skillset.

HGV driver for stobarts on the container port.

Can be an easy job, and enjoyable but as soon there is a problem with reference numbers it can take the piss, (Having to go through planner/shipping line then customer) also when the planners are on your back mithering how long you are going to be (Sometimes it takes upto 4 hours to unload/load a shipping container, They expect it done in 5 minutes!

Looking for a change, Really want to get onto tanker/ADR or even heavy haulage as that seems to be where the money is.

I'm at college currently studying level 2 motor vehicle (just finishing the year off) soon to be going on to level 3. Always wanted to be a mechanic just wish I'd done it when I left school nearly 10 years ago! Already know quite a bit as it is but coz it's all self taught and watching other ppl etc, I couldn't get into a garage coz I have no paperwork. And I clean caravans on a holiday park mon and tues,it's shite and I hate it but it works perfectly round college so will do for now. Mon and fri there and tues/wed/thurs at college!

I work as a System Administrator for Direct Line Group (Insurers group that includes Direct Line, Churchill, Greenflag, UKI etc.) Feel free to boo me, as I work for the enemy!

Job is good, only issue is the travel, 45 miles there, 45 miles back. Spend tonnes on fuel!
