Buttner Vidic Ferdinand* Rafael

Rather him than Jones or Smalling but need to look in to a replacement.

Perfect LFC team for me would be:

ATTACKERS
MIDFIELDERS
DEFENDERS
GOALKEEPER

There was no point listing an ideal back four because it's irrelevant to where Mata would go. Sorry Chris you failed with this troll

I really can't pick who I would rather have out of Evans, Jones or Smalling!

Probably swaying towards Smalling.

Sack off Ferdinand, Evra, the da Silva wankers, Valencia or Nani, Anderson, Cleverley and Giggs... add a new RB (Coleman?), LB (Coentrao?), Mata, probs an extra striker if Rooney leaves (think he will) and things suddenly arent lookign so bad IMO (rather like Arsenal)... eg:

De Gea
Coleman Smalling Jones Coentrao
Carrick Fellaini
Mata Kagawa Januzaj
RVP

Pretty decent! Still leaves you with Lindegaard, Vidic, Evans, Buttner, Nani/Valencia, Welbeck, Hernandez plus youngsters

RVP will need replacing end of next season on the assumption he doesnt fuck off after the WC (highly likely if you dont finish in top 4 IMO)

No way would I sell Rafael. I think he will be a great RBI but if not then he's great for cover, can even go on the wing if needbe.

I just think we need a LB for the defence with Buttner as cover.

I wouldn't mind Rooney going as long as it was abroad and we keep Kagawa so he can play in his proper position. Buy a world class right winger and attacking mid and that should do. The squad isn't bad, just needs a few decent players in there to get them motivated. Shame we can't just have 4 Januzaj's tbh in midfield.

Rafael is 23 now, I'd like to think he is growing up maturing on the pitch. Fabio simply doesn't get the game time so hard to criticise him.

Fabio failed with QPR so I haven't much hope, if we are short though I suppose he can be back up, depends if Evra goes.

Rafael was one of our best players last season, I can see him at United for life. As long as he doesn't get sent off every game I don't mind him being a little thug lol.

Yes to Coentrao and that formation. Our midfield is weak as in recent years we have concentrated our play down the wings instead. As soon as we come up against a decent midfield e.g. Man City & Chelsea they run rings round us.

Someone like Coentrao would still give us width as he likes to get forward anyway. It's the way everyone else is going.
