As theres not a single quote from a doctor or any of MS's PR people im going to remain skeptical over how true this is.

As a few doctors who have been commentating in the press about this have said, it isn’t a case of simply waking them up – there is a slow process and there are usually setbacks that require either slowing or stopping (hopefully temporarily) the procedure.
That said, it has been some time – hopefully there are no further issues and this is either a minor setback, or an attempt by a newspaper to provoke a reaction from the hospital for an update.

Some good news, Schumacher showing "moments of awakening and consciousness"
A good write up on what that means

Hopefully good news, but you don't know how fried he's going to be when he wakes up.

The thought of waking up and being told you've been in a coma for 4 months must be strange.

Yep, was talking about that earlier.
Must be strange trying to catch up with 4 months or so of missed life/news. That's assuming and hoping he does wake up and get back to good health.

So i've seen a few reports (nothing on any reputable news sites yet) that Michael Schumacher has came out of his coma and recognised his wife.
Really hoping this is true and not some bullshit made up to get traffic to websites.

It's false. Nicola Pohl who is a F1 reporter for BILD tweeted to say Sabine Kehm text her to say the rumours she'd told reporters he was awake and recognised his wife were not true.

Randomly watched a programme about some American hospital,
One lad was in a coma, from the scans the dr's basically said he's a goner, barely any brain activity, family refused to turn off the machines,
Weeks/maybe even months later he started waking up,
No one could believe it,
Then months later after heavy rehabilitation (walking talking etc) it showed you him walking into the hospital to thank the nurses and dr's,
Tbh too meet him you wouldn't know,
Luckily he remembered some stuff,
Apparently he's a one in a billion case.
Luck of the draw is all it's down too.

Yeah, head injuries are actually very hard to predict what will happen next.
My brother had bacterial meningitis which caused the lining of his brain to swell up. He went from certain death to fit as a fiddle, but it could easily have gone the other way.
It's mostly a waiting game with things like this.

Its interesting to see there have been no reports other than out of a coma i.e can he say/do/indicate anything to anyone or is he a vegetable?

He won't be a vegetable, but he will more than likely be serverly disabled for now. 6 months is a long time and his muscles would've wasted away.
