Because the fans are morons.
We won, that's all that matters. I don't care if we play shit for the next 7 games, as long as we stay up and don't start slipping back down.
my brother went tonight, I'll have to ask what the boo'ing was for.

I swear to fuck Steve, are you going to be regurgitating this shit week in, week out until the end of the season? Or beyond? The players could and should be doing better. But basically, your team is shite. You have more shite players than most of the teams above you.
United starting 11 cost more last night than Citys
So you're including a 30 million pound, but fucking past it Ferdinand?

Truth is truth eck!
I'm assuming everyone saw the Bayern pass map from last night? United could well break another record in that match...

The alternative is a pensioner that's played a dozen games in 6 or 7 years

Depends whats on the table i guess, they have a stupid amount of money, and are supposedly desperate to get something like this to promote the world cup and to complete against their abu dhabi rivals

Leaving anyway so definitely played his last game!
Will be interesting to see who they go for, lots of Spanish pundits saying they're likely to buy two keepers as Pinto is 38.
Spanish title race is epic, even more so than the PL's probably. I like the head-to-head rule over goal difference, adds another edge to it.

This does the rounds all the time. Qatari interest, local Manchester interest and now supposed ex player interes. As already said, needs to be for sale. The Glazers aren't keen on cashing in and making a few million on top of their initial layout so it won't happen anytime soon.

Aye, the replacement isn't exactly great But do you honestly believe that Valdes should be representing Barcelona? Its not very often that a goalie is called upon for them but he doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. El Clasico is the perfect example.

Didn't see this. Yeah I saw it. Just shy of one thousand passes completed at a rate of 93% That is fucking insane.

ter Stegen is nailed on. wouldnt surprise me in the slightest iof they go in for Fabianski to support him either, whetehr he'd want to potentially be no. 2 again is debateable though

Arsenal fans seem quiet
To be fair I'll give them credit unlike some on this website who seemingly can't credit a rival team, or another team for that matter.
Everyone thought they would fall away long, long before this moment, to be nearly in April and not far from the league is an achievement for them and they've done well. And still I reckon they'll maintain CL qualification as well. But I think they've shot themselves in the foot for the league now.
Did anyone listen to Scholes as well? He tore Arsenal a new one and Jack Wilshere
[Edited on 26-03-2014 by p]
He didnt really though did he, he laid out a few fair facts (whilst leaving Utd mostly alone...)
Shockign shockign performance and result... didnt deserve fuck all and were lucky the ref blew up as they were through on goal. SERIOUSLY lookign over our shoulders at Everton now. Thank god we beat the Spuds too otherwise we could be in even more toruble. Everton 6 pts behind, game in hand and we have to go there next weekend potentially only 3 pts behind after City tear us a new one at the weekend.
However, to dick raper and other (non-CSers) going on about our usual implosion... utter nonsense, the reaosn this time is because we have half our tiny squad out injured. and thats not an excuse, just fact. weve proven time and tiem again the last few years that we have (generally) excellent mental strenght but at the moment the core players left un-injured seem fucked, physically and mentally. you can lay the blame at AW for havign too small a squad, nos erious back-up to Giroud and potentially for overplayign players leading to injuries. you can blame AW for appallign errors in team selection and tactics against liverpool, chelsea and swansea (City away was genuinely a freak result, we were very competitive but gave away ridic mistakes every time we got back into the game) but dont just roll out the boring "arsenal imploding again", cos its bollocks.
If we make 4th and win the FA Cup itll have been an OK season. I said at the start of the season i wanted to see us win a cup and not have the usual last minute push for top 4 this season, genuine sustained title challenge next and be winners year afetr that and until the last few games we were on course to achieve those. we may have a little fight on for 4th now but anyhtign can change... liverpool could get stuffed by city and chelsea at home and we could reel them in (for example, i dont think that willa ctually happen) so no need to panic... take it game by game and see where we are. given we were top for vast majority of season, i would have loved to see us finish 3rd minimjm and avoid the annoying CL qualification and the worries that gives AW in tfr market BUT FA Cup and 4th by a few poitns is progress.
Then we need to see AW SPEND SPEND SPEND, NO EXCUSES otherwise he's lost the support. New GK (unlss we can convicne Fab to stay), new RB (unless we can convince Sagna to stay), fuck off Vermaelen and Djourou and bring in a new CB and a back-up CB, new TOP QUALITY holding midfielder (Bender or Gundogan level, not bloody Schneiderlin), one TOP TOP QUALITY striker and an extra back-up striker (happy for that to be Campbell). We need more pace too, so if he has to ship out Poldi () and bring in a harder workign and nippier winger who can bag goals (Draxler, Reus, Griezmann ) then so be it. Striker shoudl ahve a lot of pace too.
Arteta has his uses but as a holding player against any reasonable opposition, hes just too old and slow/immobile... not his fault, hes 32 now Also occurred to me the last 2 games that Flamini isnt actually that great... he shouts and organises and gets in amongst it which we def need but does he have the actually footballing quality? i dont think so. good back-up, otherwise no real use.
