If the pressure plate is fairly new does that mean that that particular make of pressure plate isn't up to the job anymore?

150 or so i think it was. easy to change. but not changing it for the same thing as it is no doubt not up to what i need. id say the torque is killing it.
after a post on migweb, seems its going to be around 800 ish quid for a proper clutch set up. great. car off the road till next year then

borrowing someone elses pics from saturday at kirkbride as i didnt get any. cant get the vids as left the camera at my mates house. get on. will get vids up tomorrow night. anyway pics from today.
slower than a corsa amazingly.
alanvtec in his legnum. think his best was a 13.8
my mate chris's mk2 golf van with 1.8 16v from a mk2 golf. his best was a 14.6. he gets some awesome launches. quicker 60ft times than i get. beast of a car.
my faavourite car of the day. mk1 escort with st170 engine on tb's in it. awesome car.
noble m12. slower than a corsa aswell.
jimbothebarbarian aka vxr james in his vxr. he did a mental 73 runs today in that. averaging 11mpg. quickest time of the day for jim was a 14.7 at 102mph. not bad. he didnt stop hardly all day. 5 mins for a burger then back out again.
my piece of crap. got a 12.37 in the damp at 128mph. then it killed the clutch. i finished 2nd overall in the cars beaten by a 650bhp skyline (can see it in background of the lambo pics) which ran a 12.31
if my car hadnt have killed itself, it would have gone quicker as the track dried up nicely. i was getting a 13.1 at 121mph on a soaking wet track.
all in all, apart from my clutch death. i had a great day out. going back tomorrow to hopefully see adams sierra running up the strip see what he can manage.
