I think City's new formation for this season will be: 1-1-8

Papers say Lescott is pleading to talk to City.

What is it with all these money grabbers

What a prat. If I was an Everton fan I'd want rid of the Klingon, get in a better Vulcan defender.

When he can probably get double his wages and the chance to win things with City no doubt he is wanting to move.

At the end of the day he is only with Everton, and City at worst are a step sideways, and with the money they are spending are more than likely a step up.

Bit of both tbh.

But its not like he is doing what Tevez or Barry did, in dismissing the chance of playing for a top top side to grab the money from City. Lescott is at a team who isnt pushing for a CL place, isnt pushing to win the league, isnt pushing to win any sort of cup really.

At least City so seem to be trying to spend a bit to push for those things.

When are City going for the man that will change their fortunes?

Currently with West Ham.

Just heard on local radio that city and chelsea have been in touch with alonso's agent now... they can both EMA before he's goes anywhere near either of those I seriously doubt he'd want to or we'd let him go to anywhere in the PL

I cant see why he'd want to go to either tbh, and I seriously dont think he would even for the money on offer.

As far as I can make out, his main reason for wanting a Madrid move would be to go back to Spain and to be part of what could be something special there. It doesnt appear to be money motivated.

Spurs I expect out of those two.

Or maybe this sale of Pompey will lead to a load of money being pumped in and he stays.

The way he suddenly pulled out of the Sunderland deal suggests to me that he may have had a big club come in for him.....

I have a bad feeling.

Sunderland are more than likely out because he doesn't want to move up North, or his fiancee doesn't, and i'd do what she asks if i was him!

Wouldn't say no as long as its not for a silly fee. Hopefully go to SPuds though thus leaving us a clear path still to Huntelaar who I think is still available
