Your exposure is off on that one.
Have a look at the windows. They have clipped highlights, yet appear grey. Should be plain white.
The fact you have clipped highlights in the first place suggest this isn't an HDR at all. Did you use multiple exposures? If you did, you might need to enlarge your bracket between the shots.
To fix the underexposed highlights in Photoshop try using layer > new adjustment layer > curves.
There you'll see that your histogram is completely empty in the right hand part:
So adjust your whitepoint bracket (top right) to sit right over where the histogram ends, like so:
At this point your exposure is in place and you can leave it or edit the mood of the picture by adding a third bracket in the middle of the diagonal line and pulling it slightly left or right to adjust the curve to your liking.

Testing out a new photography technique. Not much I can do until it's dark, but thankfully the garage is dark enough to experiment.

Interesting technique. I can't make out what the first one is supposed to be though but the second one looks ok. I think its got potential with a bit more refining. What have you used for a light source out of interest?

Yeah, the first one is a little abstract. It's the front of the 911 under it's cover. You were never really going to be able to tell what it was, I just liked the way the lines flowed.
I'm keeping my technique a secret for now until I play about with it a little more

Phone one is pretty cool, though you could have had one of the fire photos as a wallpaper.

Cheers pal, yeah that thought did cross my mind when I was pulling them off the memory card but I couldn't be bothered to set everything up again. It took about 30 attempts to get the phone shot how I wanted it

Nice shots mate. Treated yourself to a new camera? What have you gone for?
