Can't darken the chrome bits more cos i deleted the layer by accident

That looks quite tasty that does! If you want to darken the the chrome bits again all you have to do is select them again with the polygon lasoo

use the quick selection tool to select them and then play with the saturation from there

On second thoughts your lights are looking a bit glazed, also you need to tidy it up round the edges like the gap between the wheel and the skirt
