Sounds like it unless a Prem club comes in with a late offer

Another story saying mashcerano wants a move to spain today, it had gone quiet for a bit but looks to be gathering pace again. We better not sell him because his wife is having visa issues ffs, it looks as though alonso is most likely to go, few rumours that a deal for aquilani is agreed in principal but from shit sources

I doubt Masch will go, Im even doubting Alonso will go given the reluctance for Madrid to meet what we want and Rafa playing hardball.

Im sure a new deal for Masch on £50k more a week will help ease the pain of his wifes visa issues!

If both players want to go, and Liverpool pricing them out of the market makes them stay, that's a good thing aswell, two players who don't want to be there still at the club

Yes, because look how Alonso played last season after he was nearly sold.....his best ever season for the club. Its also World Cup year, so they have no choice but to play as well as they can.

Want any more straws to clutch at Strick?

Not clutching at straws, but having two players who want to leave isn't a good thing

And they've both now said they would be happy to go, one through his agent, one himself but refusing to ask for a transfer

Ronaldo wanted to go last year, and we didnt let him, and he wasn't as good the season just gone, his head wasnt in it.

Neither have said they want to go. Masch's agent has been chatting shit, but neither Alonso or his agent have said he wants a move.

And Id normally agree, but in a WC year - and considering both are professionals and not greasy arsed portuguese twats - if they stayed then they'd play as well as they always have.

How many years have they both got on their contracts? Just thinking when you'd have to cash in by to make a decent transfer price for them?

Both still have 3yrs, so if they have a great season with us (pre-WC season so should) then they'll be worth no less next summer - plus they may realise that the grass isnt always greener elsewhere.

Anyway...you may be forgetting that we are not a selling club - so should we make them stay for 2 more years and they go for next to nothing then we'd of hopefully won 2 league titles in that time.

True, they will be worth more if they have a good world cup to

I wouldn't think any of the Big 3 would be considered selling clubs, sometimes though you need to sell for the good of the team

No, but Im sure I read more about the going on with those two that you do, so it makes sense Id know more than you....tbh Id guess at most people knowing more about most things in life that you, as you come across a little simple.

Dodge? Maybe we shouldnt bring up the United player's houses that have all just been broken into....

why's that?

because i laugh at you thinking you are the authority on football, think you know all there is to know about liverpool and that your word is gospel

if that makes me appear simple then so be it

Not at all, where have I said I know all about Liverpool? Where have I said what I am saying is what will happen? I think 99% of the time you'll find what I say in MY opinion - I'll often make this clear by using 'imo'.

The fact you think the above is actually what makes you appear simple. If you fail to tell the difference between someone giving an opinion on a matter they read up a lot on, and someone stating something as fact then you're going to struggle in life.

Yeah, 99% of my posts (as with everyone else) are opinions.

If you fail to see this then I suggest you and Doyle should make friends as you'll no doubt love each others company.

Not at all, you'll see I replied with the perfect bait to make you go off on one.

I really must congratulate myself for that, well played
