8 hours on it today to get it to this point

then conected the battery and smoke came of the terminal so took it of straight away, turned out that i had the earth and power wires in the started loom the wrong way as i had re raped the loom and couldent see the colours, now the car is not sparking or no fuel, so hopefully i have just poped the fuse for the ecu, worse cast is ecu blown , but think it will be fuse, also cranked over and got oil pressure

riped the dash out today to check the fuse and it was ok , hadent blown, checked that the ecu is getting power which it is, aslo with the ignition on the coil pack is getting power so a bit stuck now, got my mate coming round tomorow with his laptop with dta on it so hopefully we will find the problem then , only thing i can think is that the map has been wiped of the ecu, in which case its not that bad

so decided to clean it

also pic of how the boot is coming on

doesent look like like its good news, pluged laptop in and map is still on there ,saved it to laptop incase it goes anywhere, did a check on the injectors and they were all opening up when we did the test then tested the coil and that was working so a bit stuck now, my mate has taken the ecu of as he has a friend who knows whats what so will have a look over it, if not will have to send it back to dta
