Just ordered some parts with ///M tax on. 60 quid total for a plastic brake duct, bracket, 1 bolt and 1 nut
Need to fix the damaged wheel arch but trying not to spend the 80 quid they want for a new bit of plastic.
also need to order a new HID kit as one of the bulbs has failed
put new led's in my number plate lights. The old one had burnt out for some reason. Thinking about putting normal W5W bulbs back in though. The led ones look a bit chavvy now.

Ouch that's not cheap. They like charging loads for shitty plastic bits!
I'm thinking about buying the full fitted rear number plate led units. Proper bright.
Got an assessment at bmw on Thursday. Hopefully get my foot in the door. Then discounts! Haha

Ah yeah, forgot he does them, cheers Jambo. Going to go for either 4300k or 5000k this time. Not keen on the blueish tint the 6000k gives.
Stole my dads jet wash today, then jacked the car up and cleaned the underside/suspension/wheelarches after a winter of driving through what can only be described as dirt tracks.
Cleans up well for an 11 year old motor.
Oil service next Saturday. Then it'll hopefully be maintenance free for a good while.

I have been thinking that Gav. May give it a go tomorrow.
Managed to fix a piece of plastic that was damaged in the disintegration of the brake duct. Happy as the small piece was going to cost £96 to replace absolutely ridiculous.

Here you go Gav, still not convinced Much prefer it without a plate at all. I have loads of the sticky pad tape though so can always re-align it lower/higher.

Miles better like that. Isnt it meant to be there? My e46 plate only attaches to the bumper on the top half of the plate.
It was the only thing letting your car down IMO.

Yeah I prefer mine without too.
Is the bottom of the plate flush with the bottom of the bumper?

Why not lose the plate all together? Never had one on my evo?
Left it off the m3 for ages too

Don't want the potential grief mate. Would be nice to leave it off though.

Gradually fixing the bits i've messed up now
Realised I ruined a rear arch trim when trying to deform them when the wheels rubbed. You can't actually see where I ended up cutting them, but I found another trim for £20 so will get that just so I can put it back to standard spec.
Got my 5000k HID's through, might put them on tomorrow.
Just waiting for the front arch trim now.
After that, I need to spend another small fortune on a Z4M cover that goes under the engine. Realoem.com suggests its $152
When I bought the car, the guy had bodged a standard Z4 one onto the car, which I didn't notice. All part of the joys of 2nd hand car ownership I guess!
Pics/interesting stuff tomorrow.

Cool. I've developed a fault on mine. Really hoping it's just the abs sensor! Don't want expense!

Just saw your thread. Probably nothing major at all, just the sensor.
I do feel your pain though. Had the same worry when mine leaked coolant from expansion tank and thermostat and the starter motor problem. Fortunately no massive repair bill.
