Thanks all

Mark the hand brake one was dead easy to fit. I kinda cheated a bit as I just put it over the top of the original one But yeah as marksport said turn it inside out, cable tie it then turn it back out the right way and tuck it down into the carpet. Took me about 5 minutes to get it perfect. You dont need to remove the handle or anything.

Scott heres the link They are really good quality!

Kizza, Im not feeling the flocked dash tbh nibnob's been trying to get me to get it done as well lol. Love the way it looks in yours but I dont think it would suit mine for some reason

Fucked up again

Coming home from uni today I thought I'd give it a bit of stick down the by pass for a change. Started overtaking a few cars then glanced in my rear view mirror...blue smoke feck!

I got home and told my dad and he wasnt impressed I was about to dig out compression kit but thought I'd just check the oil level to see how much was in it. I'd topped it up on saturday but didn't check how much where it was on the dipstip after as I had to rush off to work. Only gone and over filled it hadn't I Jesus I think im actually losing the plot!

I've got to do a fair treck tomorrow to take my dad to pick up his new motor and didnt want to risk driving it like that so me and my dad have just been out in the pitch black and pouring rain to drain some back out lol. Funnn!

One quick Q though. I've literally done about 15 miles max with it overfilled. Am I likely to have done any damage at all?

Ner will be fine. I over filled my dads car by about 2 litres when i was 15

It was a complete smoke screen and cut out....I just drained the oil, cleaned the plugs, and got my dad to sit at 100 on the m1 for a few junctions revving the tits of his 1.6!

Still working sound to this day.

15 miles slightly overfilled should be fine mate. Just stop being a plonker and don't do it again lol.

Shaun i did that in my old 16xe, i just went up the ''private'' motorway i have at 100mph+ several times and it burnt off surprisingly fast. My 16xe burnt oil fast and it didnt have any side effects.
