Turbo on its way out on the audi imo. Something making a whirring and seems to be related to moments of boost.

Only just had wishbones, ball joint, rad, couple of coolant pipes and a timing belt/water pump/service.

Thinking I'll have to get it fixed rather than just getting shot of it. Still want to buy something else but not sure what. Starting looking at defenders but not sure how that'll be for a daily.

The condition of the roads and mental drivers I've had to contend with this last week and a half, yes, for a cheap car it's alright. Nothing was a problem to it even dirt roads that weren't actually roads that google maps said were roads.

Hire car rating - 8/10

Can't find a car to buy, saving the money instead, going to get audi fixed, got a man coming to look at it.

Drives fine, just makes a noise like a hover/milk float.

Seems to make the noise when i accelerate, not with the revs. So i can accelerate get the noise, let off the gas and noise dies down, doesn't matter what speed/revs

Boost pipe under the drivers headlight? Bastard to get at, they have dimples on the hoses to make them 'push and clip' fit, but the clips wear and eventually pop off every 5 minutes

About to get back in to my 7r after 10 days absence and also driving a diahatsu sirion in between. It's going to feel like an absolute executive rocket ship with gadgets. Looking forward to doing a launch control out of the airport car park.
