Sorry to say I hope they don't with the current price many english players haveut on thier head. Milner - 26m really
Precisely - Cahill/Jagielka for £15m+ or an experienced international for £6m ish

Those are also inflated due to it being Prem to Prem. Not just because they are English.

How do you give a bad attitude during a trial. Isn't this the time were you do your best for your potential new team!!

FPSML at the best (worst) rumour of the summer
"Xabi Alonso in shock Liverpool return, The player is no longer required at Real Madrid after the signings of German World Cup stars Khedira and Ozil. Sources in Spain state that Alonso is valued at £23 million, but will affectively be sealing a return to Liverpool for free due to this sum still being owed to the Anfield Club from Alonso's 2009 transfer to Real. Alonso left Anfield under a cloud after a major public falling out with then Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez. It is understood that Alonso is keen to rejoin, as he believes he has unfinished buisness at Liverpool."
So I now expect City to out bid us by £1m.

IIRC did liverpool not get the whole Alonso fee up front? Would like him at City tbh.

Yeah we did from what was reported (no way to fully know until accounts for that period are released) which is why its such a stupid rumour - well one of the reasons anyway

Ronaldo is coming back to us on a free transfer and doesn't want any wages paying either

Yea because that's what you need right now, another central midfielder...
Cosmo, Although that story is obviously made up, Baring in mind how big Real's squad is I wouldn't bet against him leaving, not that i am saying he will, but if he did i cant imagine anywhere more suitable for him to go than back to Scouseland

Of course, then they could play 4 DMs - imagine lining up against this midfield
Alonso de Jong Toure Yaya Barry

It beggars belief but they are actually playing with those 3 DM's tonight to start and for the 1 winger they started with in David Silva they have made sure they have sufficient cover on the Bench by bringing 3 winger's... How does this make sense to this docile Wop
Why anyone needs to play 3 DM's against this obscure team is a mystery too, no wonder they aren't winning
