Fine. I'm learning how to use a high level bus analyser so that I can diagnose faults quicker and easier on the eurofighter. Sooo much info to take in

I'm an aircraft electrician, I work on flight testing at BAE Warton. I basically fix any electrical problems on the aircraft during the flight testing stage. It could be a loose connection in a plug, a damaged fibre optic or a broken computer etc.

It kind of is, it's a pc with fibre optic and data bus cards onboard that talks to the jet over the data bus. high speed stuff with the fibre optics and low speed over twisted pair data bus cables.
It's mainly learning how to use it to diagnose complex faults more simply. You wouldn't believe the amount of wiring and computing that goes on in a fighter jet

i can imagine its a lot..i mean those things arnt cheap right? i went to london a few months ago with a guy who had done courier work for BAE, he transported 2 ejector seats worth like a million quid each or something, your gonna need some pretty trick computer for that sorta thing.
