It would be on the drivers side if that was the case. I thought you were smart?

Also Ben Water leaks are an absolute bastard. My M3 is leaking and I STILL cannot find where from. It's the boot lid but not sure how it is getting in as the rest of the car is bone dry.

Cheers Jambo, I knew you'd approve. They definitely make the car look less Internet now.

Only way to find out where it's coming in on mine is by aiming water from the hose/pressure washer at the door, but either way I need to remove the seat to dry everything out properly. Not sure if i can do that without the seat sensor going mental at me, as i'll need to leave it out for a week or so.

What I do know is it's not from the boot area as the mechanic looked in there during the service and said everything was dry.

I've been in my boot whilst it's hosed the lot. Cannot fathom it. Best off using a hose not a P/washer? To simulate rainfall and not burst the seal open

Thats probably why the seal could be buggered. Used a pressure washer a while ago

Was just my door handle stopped working parked in the sun. Looked a right dick surrounded by people in fancy expensive cars, knocking on the window asking the missus to let me in from her side.

If you think its the seals you could try bodging it by putting some silicon grease on them. That what id did and it a recognized fix for the astra twin top leaking it worked

Took the car out for a drive today. Went into the Essex countryside and ended up outside a 15th century church with nowhere to turn around.

The ground looked fairly solid so decided to turn on there and got stuck eventually got out with the missus driving whilst me and a bloke pushed.

Once out, got a pic. Lovely day here and I probably won't forget it due to the comedy moment of getting stuck miles from anywhere.

Them grille slats need to go black. Black matches the lower grille.

Also is it private plate time yet?

Stuck, you need a rally car.

Hated those grills at first, look better on those pictures though.

Few bob spent on the car this week.

£317 on 2 rear tyres. Went with goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2's, as they have immense grip. Gone up to a 255/30 on the rear, from 235/35. No more scene stretch.

Also bought a unit which allows me to open and close the roof simply by pressing my unlock and lock buttons, rather than needing to hold them down. Bit of a gimmick, but it was expensive.

Lastly, i've just purchased some eibach lowering springs, which, ironically, should actually raise the car a little and hopefully ease up the firm ride.

Just waiting for it all to be delivered now.

I don't want my ridiculously overpriced bits of rubber getting ruined the eibachs don't seem to lower the car as much, so should be a tiny bit more suitable for my needs.

They won't be damaged if you drive with your eyes open
Don't think them wheels will look right once raised imo

Should be ok. The rears will each have 20mm more rubber on, so will fill the arches out more.

We shall see.

It's the front on these that sits too high I think.

As standard I agree.

The front tyres rub on the inner arch on full lock, which although is only ever used when getting onto my driveway, still makes an annoying noise.

Hopefully the eibachs sort that out and allows me more clearance at the rear for the tyres.

If not, they'll be back off and sold on

How wide are your front wheels?
Mine doesn't catch anywhere on the front end

8.5'' et 38, so they stick out 21.5mm further than the standard 18's.
