I got a pull up bar from argos, which pushes against the door frame instead of hanging off it. Could be better for you? my house is a cheap kit house type with thin walls. and it handles my 12 stone.

How does that fit mate? And does it mark the frame at all?
Living with parents its not easy to do these things
it twists and pushes out against the frame, with rubber ends so leaves a wee black mark but it wipes off with a wet cloth

jacko - could you sit at the bottom of the stairs and have the band go round one of the main support bannisters? Just an idea.

I had a feeling either you or shizzledizzle would mention that. Its mainly how the thing is split up, as tbh the gap between my breakfast and my mid-morning is next to nothing by the time Im up!

It looks good to me and it's given me a couple of ideas.
I've found so far that the time is flying by as I've been busy with work. The only one I dread is chest & back.

I enjoy chest and back tbh, cant be arsed with yoga and kempo but it needs to be done. found last night that I could do about 5 reps more of everything than I could on my first week.

Once you join (free) you can use it to put in everything you eat each day, it has a massive database of food and its nutritional value, or you can add your own. Im not going to use it daily, but its great for using it to work out your diet plan to begin with like above.
It's great that, think I'm going to use it daily just to get a better idea of what i'm consuming.
Just done todays, not done as bad as i'd thought intake wise.

I've had a bit of time to toy about with an new diet plan as I've been feeling hungry on my current intake. It works ous to just under 3000 calories and is in a 36:49:15 protein:carb:fat split. Feedback is always appreciated.

Well, this week has been a bit of a write off.
Played football on Tuesday and woke up in the night unable to move my neck, not sure what I did but its still hurting now (although I can move it freely now).
So havent been able to work out and cut my diet right down so wasnt eating a load of food whilst not doing workouts.

All I'll advise is dont be afraid of taking longer or more breaks than they do - just make sure they arent too long so you cool down too much, aim is to keep your heart rate up.

some of those figures dont add up to me. 15g of honey has 81g of carbs in? i'd also avoid the weight gain first thing in the morning and replace it with something worthwhile

Is anyone actually following the program and diet correctly?
Take pop for example.
quote: Some basic body stats...
Height - 6'3" / 190cm
Weight - 130 lbs / 9st 4lb / 59 KG
Than works out that he is on the Level 1 eating plan, which is 1800-2399 calories per day.
For some reason, he is eating 3000 :S
1 portion of fruit per day, he is eating 3
1 snack, which is 1oz of nuts, he is eating more than a squirrel
8oz of dairy (which is 227ml), he is on 750ml
Even eating too much fruit and dairy for the level 3 eating plan.
