You're not far behind bummer

Love this weekend, wankered on Friday night and laid in bed in time for qualifying, and all the gossip in the world surrounding silly season. Love it!

Bad smash for Lewis in fp3 though

Vettel leaves Red Bull

Replaced by Kyvat.

Assume that means hes off to Ferrari? Which means Alonso to Mclaren, cant see it been for RAI.

Just realised you were all talking about this on the page previous

Just catching up on FP3, not seen Lewis' off yet, but seen on Twitter they reckon his car will be fine for quali, no gearbox/chassis damage, not the best way to start though!

Going to miss quali as i have to go to work got it on record so will watch it as live when i get back if i can avoid the news.

Was a bit lighter than i expected. New front end and left corner. Just carried too much speed into turn one and got dragged wide, soon as he was on the astroturf he was knackered.

P1 for Nico. Interesting.

Hoping for a dry start to the race at least. Any start behind a safety car is proper crap.

Nico bummers out in full force today. ''he's back'' and all that jazz.

Lewis wins? 7... Ok go home Nico fans

Lewis was beaten fair and square in qualifying, but you get no points for pole, only a shitty cup which nobody cares about (expect Nico).

Looking forward to the race. Personally, I hope they both take eachother out and Williams don't mess about with strategies and finally get a win.

Just no

I like to enjoy the facts. The facts are that Lewis is the better racer and quicker.

Nico has had more poles, but I can recall 2 qualifying failures off the top of my head straight away (brakes and engine fire) that cost lewis a *chance*of getting those P1's

Thats without the Monaco incident...

Think what you will, but I just want to see people talking about the facts and not shouting out random abuse for no reason.

Anyway, just checked the forecast for Suzuka and it's solid rain throughout the day tomorrow safety car start, no doubt. The most pointless thing ever invented.

You are dismissing Nico fans for being happy he out qualified Lewis, when you do the exact same thing.

Is simple. Lewis Bummer, nothing wrong with that. Just don't act like Nico fans are idiots because he outperformed Lewis.

I just re watched the pole lap and it was just typically Nico. No drama, quite smooth and just well hooked up I guess.

Lewis was looking ahead up till Spoon, amazing how much time can be made or lost on these flowing circuits compared to the stop/go nature of most of the calendar.

Was far too drunk when Quali started and pretty much passed out in Q3 Need to play the long game tonight!

Interview afterwards Lewis said "it wasn't there" looked tired. Could be jet lag or problems at home? Either way didn't seem all there.

Very professional though, he is growing on me with his maturity

Nope. Don't think I said they were idiots anywhere on this page... You're implying I thought that.

This has always been one of Lewis' bogey tracks, even Grandad beat him here. Great lap by Nico though, after that first run in Q3 i knew the battle was over, then he bettered it Fair play, a well deserved pole for him.

Still, anything can happen tomorrow with this forecast, I'd probably be quite happy if the race finished how it starts. I expect Lewis to be very strong at Abu Dhabi, Brazil and USA.
