Cheers mate, I invested in a nice tripod and it so stable even in a breeze.
How have you lit those? Just ambient from the xmas tree? some awesome colours floating about in those.
I've had another play with the Cosina this evening. I was blown away with how sharp this thing is! I stacked this image of a 1:43 scale Bentley Spped 8. The detail is so great the car looks filthy
I've got a couple more to process of various items so be prepared

Not the best photo, but I was really pleased with the outcome as I don't have a tripod and I had to zoom in from quite a long distance.

Happy New Year everyone I took this photo over Xmas. It has been in the family for over 100 years but unfortunately it is broken beyond repair. Its such a beautiful timepiece though I just had to get the Cosina out and get a closeup.

That last one is awesome Gaz! Did you borrow the lens?
Gary, if you click on the picture there should be the original size up to 1200pixels. PM me your email address if you need a different size

It's my mates, so technically yes, it was borrowed however borderline stolen. I had at my disposale a 400, 300, 70-200 all f2.8. A 16-35mm, 10-20m,m 50mm, 24-70mm and a large range of body's if I wished to use them.
He shoots premier league hence the range of gear.

I love F2.8 gear as do everyone else obviously but it can be so expensive!
I know this is a little off-topic however here is a video of the same feeder with the Red's feeding. If you sack the volume up too you will be able to hear them squabble.
