this is honestly going to be a look a minter when finished Dan!!!

+ watch what you shot blast mind ive seen alot of xe/lets break because of bits of shot in engine parts f**k the engine block,inlet... ad stick to spray painting bits matey from damage ive seen

Thanks alot Kev,appreciate it with all the hard work i'm putting in.

Yea Jaffa's offered me to shot blast some stuff if i need it but i'm ok with spraying things tbh.

Going to have a good go at gearbox tomoz and probs fit the bits i've done today.

I've ordered some more manifold double ended bolts and gaskets. Be able to get my manifolds on next week.

Not really done anything today Kev mate,been freezing and i don't do the cold.

I have gave the throttle body another spray,built my coilpack back up and welded the other side of car. I also got shafts out and going to start on box tomoz. Cleaning it and getting it sprayed.

A little update though. 13.1.2012

Went to scrap yard today and got a non airbag cowling and fitted it. That's about it.





And one of my baby feeling sorry for herself,needs her new heart.

Update 14.1.2012 :

Today i started work on the gearbox. Wasn't the cleanest of jobs but i managed. So out came the drill and wire brush and i got to work.

Probs needs alot more work but that'll do for now.



Then painted,not that pleased with it so going to have another go once dry



Built throttle body back up,connected all hoses



Fuel rail all back together



Another of the gearbox drying



And one of the front gearbox mount drying



That's it for today,still waiting for my front custom mount to come. Once i've got paid i'm going to order :

-All new gaskets,both manifolds,dipstick,inlet etc..
-New timing belt & water pump
-Get rocker & belt cover powder coated.

What gearbox linkage are you going for?

I ran the M-Tech short shift kit and it was perfect. Great fit as well.
