Looks awesome shaun, the leather really suits that car with the light grey piping etc.. you only need to source a drivers side lower door pocket, but doesnt look bad anyway how it is, when we get there spy TV and get onto them for a feature! Would be a great and well deserved read!

Thanks everyone

Barney they are very comfy mate yeah. A bit slippy when you give it some in the bends lol, but I love them!

Thanks Jay haha

Cheers Ad, yeah its a bit of a bugger than the drivers side has the holes in it. But I've been dieing the get them fitted though since I bought them off you lol. So at least I've got fitted now for pvs and I can just get a new D/S one as and when. Might pick one up at Billing actually But yeah we will have to keep our eyes peeled for them at pvs

Your right Mark yeah Nothing else planned for it now other than a couple of little bits. After pvs the next thing I want to tackle is the underside. Lots of cleaning, painting and powdecoating to protect it for many years to come

I hope you do, you need to tell your dad to put that kit car in the garden and store the corsa in the garage

Thought I'd post an update of what I've been upto lately

Just been trying to get the car looking as good as possible mainly ready for pvs excited! first up was a bit of bodywork repairing. I used the car everyday throughout the winter in the snow, I tried to protect it as best as possible but it developed a few rust spots as a result Didnt want nasty rust on show as pvs so they had to go!

Luckily it was just the bottom of the doors that were effected. Heres a pic of how the D/S door looked before -

Not a good look!

I started on the inside of the door first, sanded it all right back to bare metal then treated it

Zink primed and then flattened back

Then I started the outside. I did pretty much the same as I did on the inside except I filled a couple of spots

Then on Tuesday I painted it Got a really good finish and was chuffed to bits. I did have a slight miss hap though, I promised myself I wouldnt put too much paint on too quickly but what did I go and do ended up with a small run about 4cm long...damn it! Huge thanks to Sean off here though who gave me some tips on removing it, worked a treat dude thanks!

So I left it to cure for a few days and this morning I've been out and blended it in with some rubbing compound Looks amazing and I havent even polished it back up yet! Going to leave that for a little while longer as I want to make sure the paint is 100% set before I get my DA on it

Heres some pics!

A quick pic of the P/S which just needs flattening back then its ready for paint

It had its MOT on monday as well Passed with flying colours, no advisories wooop! Just had to re insure it as well, got it down to a grand with Brentacre so Im happy with that. Just got to tax it next week then its good to go
