I support Huddersfield, was just going to post about Rhodes.

Reports our end think it will be £150k up front with the rest coming when he plays so many games, scores so many, if we get promotion etc etc.

Reading some Ipswich forums seem you lot are up in arms about it. Payback from when you took Stewart from us

Brentford are going nuts as well, but a lot of their fans are saying that they would rather have Billy Clarke back and I think that's what some of our fans are missing the point as well. Rhodes has played a handful of games at Championship level but never really done much.

Plus Connor Wickham is a MUCH better prospect than Rhodes so it could be the simple fact that Keane rates Connor much more and might as well just let Rhodes leave than let him rot in the reserves.

I'm not that bothered about him leaving, we haven't got time to waste to get into the Premiership and like I said Wickham is going to be a big name well before Rhodes will be.

Will do well in League 1 though.

Cosmopolitan he's been going since the start it was just a case of negotiating a decent fee for him.

Don't worry yourself though, Cattermole to replace him.

Cattermole would replace Masch more than Alonso tbh.

If he has handed in the request it will piss me off. He should have done this 4 weeks ago not 2 weeks before the start of the season.

He misses out on a loyalty bonus if he requests to leave!

TBH its still not been confirmed, Sky have back tracked from we've confirmed it to now only saying 'a club source' which means jack shit tbh.

Still though, Ballague has been on saying this morning RM put an offer of 25m euros on the table (less than they have offered previously) and we have told them we want 35m euros plus 5m euros in add ons.

Rafa better stick to his guns

He has no reason not to stick to his guns...Alonso is contracted for another 3 years.

Exactly, and if we forced him to stay then I have no doubt he'd be 100% professional next season - he has to be as its a WC year.

Exactly. Which would give us a season to find a suitable replacement for the season after.

In which time Madrid might have fcuked off.
