Ive heard both sides of the story for these coilovers.
1 persons says they are liek factory style steup, so really good ride not to harsh, but firm and repsonsive to drive.
Then i hear they are hard as fuck. which is what i REALLY dont want.
Plus spacers put me off. also arch clearence may be an issue then too
from what ive heard dude koni shocks are like driving in metal bars very very harsh.
but i could stand corrected.
i can confirm this with eibachs -30mm and higher poundage courtenay 2.0L springs.

No, those people with ET45 have wheels that are 3mm closer to the suspension components. You also make no mention of wheel width. If your rims were 7x18 ET42 and someone reads that and wants them to fit OK with a 7.5x15/16/17 ET45 then they'll probably get a nice surprise when the stuff is fitted.
I may be wrong here, but was just thinking about this comment. WHen u say et45 will be 3mm claser to suspension strut..will it not be the opposite of that and actually 3mm further away, as when you see neds with et38 alloys bought from halfords, the wheels always stick out of the arch ??
Prob wrong...just seems logical.

exactly...so et45 , rather than et49, woudl sit 3mm FURTHER from suspension strut?

no et 49 would be sitting on the suspension
ugh read that wrong yes et 45 would sit 4mm further away from the suspension
the ones mentioned above though were et42

Exactly higher offset further from the strut, thus us with ET45 may need 3mm spacers to make the wheels like ET42.
