Seriously thought I was gonna get some abuse when I said "I've got a CTR for going to work in, but I got a Corsa because I wanted something faster........"

Glad everyone saw I was joking

The CTR is quite easily one of the best sub £20k performance cars available. In standard form it is an incredible car.

Modifications are available and plenty have been done. Come to the forum and have a look around.

But to do what Matt did to his cost lees than £20k So surely they are both sub £20k performance cars

PMSL @ some of your comments on there Ian

[quote="Ian G"][quote="10 Pence Short"]I'd rather be given a lift on the back of a rabied camal than drive a Corsa.

I'd rather lick my own testicles than drive one.

Is that humour or are you really that dumb? You go for a drink in town and its 2am and cold, you're in shirt sleeves and there's a warm Corsa waiting to take you to your door. Lick your balls instead.

Indeed. Why would you even lick your own testicles in town when you need a lift. I don't get that.

Oh please, now my feelings are well and truly shattered.

As a few of the owners on the CTR forum have said - Santa Pod is a nice place to put things right, not on the public road.

How about you dont race any corsas at all, cos they are modified and grannys cars as you state... ( )

Why not come to pod, and see how you fair against my STANDARD 16year old Astra, V's a Standard CTR? Fact is I have never seen a STANDARD typeR pull below 15.1... and I run consistent 15.2.... therefore...

The CTR is no quicker than a 20year old Vaux

The CTR will handle better, as its a newer car with a hell of alot more development time put into it, and with much more advanced suspension geometery.... BUT you do need to sit down and shut up with regards to how superior your beloved Civc is!!
