The cams are very mild IIRC they are something like 268º. I got a platform from geoff at Autosprint and bunged that in. I'll sort it all properly at the end of this season and build something proper.

The plan now is to enjoy it as it is. then whilst I'm at uni build a proper engine, with steel rods, dry sump, solids and lairy cams. Plus fit a quaife box

I'm heading to the Pod tomorrow, weather permitting. I say this every time but I'm hoping to set a new PB, current best is 13.8, would like to see a 13.5 or less before I take it off the road for a rebuild

Haha, the Nova didn't do as well as expected. It "Only" managed a 13.8 which was the same as it got a year ago in a heavier state

I put this down to:

a) Oli has put on weight....

b) he didn't let me drive...

c)..... errr he didn't let me drive. lol Loads of fast Vauxhalls at the Pod today though.

Yeah Whatever neil haha. I think you'll find it didn't go faster due to the fact that it now has a standard head

Oli, i'm surprised you haven't cut the bottom of the rear bumper away actually?? Surely it acts like a bit of a parachute on the back?! Gotta give a bit of drag hasn't it!

Holes are for weight saving and reducing drag, I do have some elaborate diffuser planned, but i'll probably never get round to it!

Check out Total Vauxhall magazine for a 6 page feature on my little rascal.
