to be honest it isnt the worst result in the world. Would of liked an away goal though as controlled majority of the second half. Means if they do grab one at Anfield we will need 3.
Will be a totally different game next week though.

Great result for us, we was exellent in the first half but let Liver get back in to it in the second. I am shocked the way Liver played in a way, Bellamy was awful and did nothing. Sissoko didn't play which shocked me as I like him as a player. Good result though

Yeah, Bellamy was poor, but to be honest the types of balls he was getting (Zenden trying to cross) were totally wrong for him. He needs it along the floor when there is pace behind the defence.
We really werent at our best. Controlling in the second half but far from our best. Hopefully will pick it up for next week and make it right.

I hope not obviously, but we have a great result to take to your place. We don't need a goal but your lot do, if we score first I feel it will be difficult for Liver. Luckily for me we didn't get any yellow cards, and Robben, Ballack and Essien will be in the squad(hopefully)

Yeah, if you score first then it will be very very hard. We'd need 3 and I doubt we could do that without great difficulty.
Drogba should of been booked for one of his dives, ref just seemed to wave on when any of your players did it though which is annoying as doesnt deter it

There was a few dodgey moments with Mikel and Drogba I admit, not sure what was going on to be honest. I thought Merk had a good game, he did the job well and didn't hand cards out willy nilly like some foreign refs do. I feel Arbeloa should off been booked for the hanball incident is well.

He should of been booked for some of his tackles, not for the handball though as certainly wasnt deliberate. He miss kicked it and was just following though and hit it accidentally, you can see his head swing round as soon as he touches it but not before.
Dives are meant to be bookings right away though, one of the worst parts of the game. Joe Coles was probably the worst, but Drogba just takes the biscuit with his other acting aswell.

Ummmmmm suppose, the ref obviously didn't think they deserved yellows. J.Cole doesn't 'dive' much, he just goes down very theatrically.

Nice to see a level headed Joe Cole now though. Not celebrating, not going to say its puts them one foot in the final, no singing in the background etc. Unlike Utd yesterday where they were singing and chanting and acting like they were in the final.

I act differently to people on dives. Joe goes down to the floor and the reaction on his face sometimes is like he's been shot, or been kicked in the nuts. I find diving jumping in front off the defender to win a penalty or something. It's more of Joe's reactions that I don't like. Sod United, Ac Milan in the final will do me!
