Nice bit of progress.
I think I need a Koenigsegg engine for my Rover.
Every time I look in this thread I feel pangs of loss over my MK II Granada.

Newbie. I saw that quite a few forums linked here for this subject. A few things I'd like to correct when I re-read the thread, but first of all: ...please don't credit the Danish with building the Granny. We're Norwegians.

Let me put it this way. It WAS. You won't ever find a 190 like that anywhere else, because that car is purely handcrafted from a zillion different Benz models by the sheet-metal virtuoso responsible for the work on the Granada. You saw him in a photo earlier in the thread, Ingar is his name.

[QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4819864]I really am the worst to do updates/take pictures along the way of each "feature" we build...
But I'll give you some more pics at least,....
Feel we have good progress now and more and more major parts are getting finalized and beeing fitted to stay for a while..
Oil coolers now in place, i feel this was the best available location for them, very subtle , and very efficient, but after looking at theese pictures i have decided to swap the right one for one of similar size of the larger one to the left :
A removable lid for the transmission hole :
New centre console in the ,making , card board template and one "finished" side for the console :
Wow , a throttle pedal is suddely there :
Finally the two wastegates was tig'ed into position, hooked up a little more of the front accesories on the engine as well, you can alsp see the exhaust systems coming up in front of the firewall, it all looks nice I think :

[QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4821693]0-60 magazine from the US visited us last year and took some decent photos of our DIRTY SHED of a garage
I tought i'd show you what it looks like inside where we work!!
Beautifull mess they called this one, I can't understand why??!!
At the same time you'll see some more of Ingar's mercedes 190(wich is a piece of still standing car-art in my opinion) that quite a few of you have commented on, whom is patiently waiting for the granada to be finished! With this car we show(i think) that we can do other stuff than just plain boring sleeper look, hehe, but after standing like this for 6years it's about to become a classic at it's current state - going to be a 2 door thoug with a turbo'ed 3litre straight six already put about in the middle of the car
And one more of the two good friends together, note that you can just see the front of the engine just behind(!) the strut brace :

[QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4834813]Prasac : i will
New centre console in the making, will have the same "look" at the rear coil over brace in the trunk, polished, but will have carbon fibre behind the holes, and also carbon fibre on top all the way up to teh dash
Think it looks nice with turbos and wastgates in their final position, even tough there aren´t left and right hand turbos i think we got it looking pretth symetrical in the end
Allt fittings and hoses are in place but are barely visible without a decent camare as they are alle black
A little more exhaust wrapping on the right hand side and we are done, getting to to the tiny bit og exhaust system that is left to do, then the fun really starts getting the inlet coils, fuel rails etc.. in place

What i'd love to know is
a) HOW you got hold of the engine
b) How much the damn thing cost
c) Are you utterly insane? I'd be happy witht he engine, let alone two rather small turbochargers

You have to turn it around... What can I NOT do to them. The limit is more often in the budget... or common sense.
