Its only released in the US tomorow, official release date for europe is the 14th, wouldnt suprise me if the shops had it for sale over here a few days early though, I'm going to ring GAME now and ask when they will have it.

So far the single and co-op seems wicked the lighting, effects and sounds are amazing, was looking on one of the multiplayer maps on lan by myself and it actully felt really creepy just walking around thought something was gonna jump out at me (might be me playing dead space alot lately lol) only bad point so far is that theres only 3 maps with tanks but they are fucking huge most of them are.

Guessing you downloaded it then, the vehicle maps are fucking huge I thought, outskirts looks brilliant. The game has so much potential with maps for vehicles, as soon as the mod tools are released we will be seeing some pretty good vehicle maps, probably some remakes of UO vehicle maps which I would like to see. I phoned gamestation and they are only selling on friday too.

Well, beta has finished, I just tried playing COD4, not going to happen I'm afraid. Will just have to wait till friday

The above was taken from JD_2020's twitter page, something is in the full game that they havent made public, something they have kept quiet. There's rumours on callofduty.com that it is base assault, the most popular gametype of UO. Someone on there has found sound files refering to a 'base' of some sort so fingers crossed it is. It's a shame they have left it out, soenst make sense, but maybe they havent after all

Played COD 4 on my mates PC lol Was odd!

The movement is much more freely on a PC, everything is more accurate, its far easier to hit someone with a rifle on a PC due to the precision and speed you can do it with a mouse.

Wrong  PC has a far bigger pro gaming scene, all the way back to COD2 and even COD.

PC is the best for fps's FACT!
I shall be getting cod5 for xbox though purley for achievments and so I can play my mates on live.

Well, those who play COD4 online on the PC will know about promod. They guy who makes the mod has allready got a beta version of it out for WaW, the only supported gametype atm is SD, here are the tweaks the mod offers SD.
Grenade cooking has been removed
Fog has been removed from all maps
Recoil has been increased on all guns, similar but perhaps more than that of CoD1
Firing rate caps have been introduced to all single shot guns
Team based weapons have been added – with a workaround due to having no menus
Pistols are now given depending on your class and team
The bomb is now invisible when planting/defusing [TODO Global Plant alert]
Client side map scripting removed
Player names can now be changed during a round
Single bomb has been implemented [TODOROP]
Dvar Enforcer created
Unified Ruleset loader created
Pistols now have 1.2x movement speed
Sprint has been removed
Connection settings are now forced
FPS has been increased
The snipers have had a fix applied
Fire and effects have been removed from all maps
Music has been removed
Auto-aim and Lunge have been removed on the knife
Leader voices have been removed
Sound occlusion/attenuation removed
Sound realdelay removed
Dogs have been removed
UAV has been removed
Artillery has been removed
Perks have been removed
Off hand items have been removed
Missions have been removed
Ready up mode has been added [TODO: Half time, team switch]
Strat time has been added
Client bobbing has been removed
The XP bar has been removed
Maps now have full colour saturation
Dynamic lights and shadows are now forced off
3D Objective/World icons have been removed
