No doubt if West Ham didn't let him leave he would of sued them for loss of earnings or something anyway.

14 million is an amazing amount for him.

I would hope they'd be able to spend at least a little of it, but i'm guessing not.

Fat Sam has come out and said Santa Cruz is worth more to them than the £40m they'd miss out on should he leave and they be relagated so wont sell him in Jan. But then said he would take an offer of £40m this summer
