I haven't mate. I painted them silver but the paint wasn't drying for some reason. So I've rubbed it back down and it went silver, to red, then blue, then to metal Hopefully hammerite should be a better coat this time round. I just need a mate to help me as I'm pretty confident on bleeding but need someone to pump the pedal aswell as be there incase I get stuck and need advice.

Haha! They were blue when i got them, then done them red, all hammerite can be pretty thick lol!
You should go halfords and get a gunsons eezibleed kit, its fecking awesome and well worth the money!
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_204645_langId_-1_categoryId_165469
Just full with brake fluid, connect to your brake fluid pot, connect to a under inflated tyre on the other end and then just open your bleed valves 1 by 1 until you get a free flow with no air. Its really easy honest

That makes it sound so easy, does it mean I can just keep pumping the pedal and check until all the air has gone?

You dont need to pump the pedal mate, dont need to go inside the car. The air from the inflated tyre keep the pressure throughout the brake system.... !

I reserved the brake bleeding kit, got told they had it in stock, but got a phone call to say they don't really have it and the system is wrong So will have to try another store.
On a better note though, MY COMPS ARRIVED Bloody love them!
Obligatory in box shot
Unwrapping...
Awesome
How they'll look when rolling lol
And plain plates arrived but only fitted the rear atm
They look so much better without the GB logo, all about the simple touches
All in all a good progress update I think, just gotta get some tyres ordered when I decide what I want!

I can't decide on tyres Doldy, I need that middle point between them lasting a while aswell as being grippy due to driving 500 miles a week! Soon as I know what I want I'll get them ordered.
Thanks guys, and yeah Phil that's your fault but they do look so much better! I will get pics soon once the front plate is fitted

Stunning wheels, gonna work so well.
Smaller than I expected, though! I think that may be a good thing. Hopefully you won't have to raise it. The on-the-floor ride height is what makes the car IMO!

Graham, i use Proxes T1-R's and swear by them, they have amazing grip and have lasted me MUCH longer than i expected. Mine have covered nearly 10,000miles and i have only replaced 1 (front left, round about tyre lol).
Honest to god, T1-R's ftw you will be impressed by them.....
About the ride height, i think you may have to raise it. Like i said i get scrubbage on my 17"s (standard ST wheels) with 40mm profile tyres. And mine is no where near as low as yours...
Mind you, do you know what the max drop is on your coilovers? As i have KW Varient 1's and they have a fair bit to go on the fronts before they are max dropped.

Can't you get a slight bit of stretch and a smaller profile Graham?

Max drop is 70mm. Which is where I'm at
I'm sure I will have to raise it but hopefully not by much.
Are Proxes also called T1-R's or something? I was under the impression they were 2 different tyres?
These I was looking at:

You can't put stretch on a rally wheel

You wanted Toyo Proxes T1-R's buddy...
You also should get 205 / 40 / 17 as im guessing the wheels are 7J?
7J usually uses a 215 width tyre but i have found that 205's suit much better, doesnt show any real amount of stretch as its only 5mm either side...
Also good thing about Proxes T1-R's is that they have a nice protector lip on them.
Oh and BTW, Toyo do a range of tyres called "Proxes" they have all sorts. T1-s, T1-R, R888 etc....

OK that's making more sense now cheers!
They are 7J yeah. 215's will cause havoc with my arches I think, which is why you need stretch on the Cossie wheels to make them fit as they are 8J. Definetly going for 205/40/17, and probably T1-R's by the looks of it. Cam Skills the cheapest place?

Wheels look good mate.
Don't go anywhere near Toyo TR1's utter shite. Initially thought they were ok untill I changed back to them after Eagle F1's!
