If there's no appeal procedure for a straight red it's farcical.

He won the ball and it wasn't a red card, he shouldn't be denied the biggest night of his career because of poor refereeing.

I was being sarcastic. Although Cesc didn't "go down like a sack of spuds" he did get tripped, but Fletcher played ball.

Its harsh, but he'll get other finals for sure.
